Service Project: Quilts for Kids

Come help us cut material into strips to make quilting kits for Quilts for Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming fabric into patchwork quilts to comfort children facing serious illness, trauma, abuse, and natural disasters.
About this event
We will be cutting fabric, counting pieces, assembling all the pieces, and putting fabric and instructions in the kits. Special thanks go to Georgia Sewing & Quilting shop who generously donated many bolts of fabric for our project. These quilts are distributed to area hospitals and shelters. No sewing skills required for this project. Our goal is to make 50 quilt kits. Brunch will be provided so bring your friends and RSVP today!
