The 35th annual Christmas Crèche Exhibit

As the longest-running annual community-led nativity exhibit, the 35th annual Christmas Crèche Exhibit is back to an in-person event!

Crèche is a French word for a three-dimensional artistic representation of the birth of Jesus.

Come and explore the beauty, experience the joy and gather as a community. 

Exhibits include collections of nativities of Villages from Around the World, Latin America, and Stone & Metal. 

There will be hands-on activities for all ages, holiday music and artists in action including local artists and featured artists Jorge Cocco Santángelo and Elizabeth Sanchez. 

Come and hear inspiring stories by Steve Young & Jorge Cocco Santángelo, a marionette show and singalong, and festive concerts by the Redwood Ringers Handbell Choir, Gunn High School Chamber Singers, Mountain View High School Madrigals, and The Miraculous Foundation Gospel Singers.

This will be a Christmas tradition you do NOT want to miss!

The Christmas Crèche Exhibit is a labor of love by more than 600 volunteers. Over five days, the church is transformed into the immersive exhibit, which is open to visitors for five more days, followed by a day and a half tear-down. Volunteers cover a variety of duties from exhibit building, hosting, security, entertaining, publicity, nightly cleanup and more.

Last year over the five-day exhibit, we received over 10,000 visitors from 54 Californian cities, 14 US states, and 13 countries.

Since a new star first appeared above Bethlehem, Christmas has been a season of light, reminding us that Jesus Christ is the light of the world. Together, we can celebrate His birth by making the world a brighter place. All we have to do is follow Him—His life, His example, and His teachings. In doing so, we can help #LIGHTtheWORLD.

The Christmas Crèche Exhibit is organized by the Menlo Park and Los Altos Stakes of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
