Please join us for our Stake Conference on March 18-19. A Stake Conference is a special worship service held twice a year for the members of 5-10 local congregations. Please see below the invitation from our local Stake Presidency:

We are pleased to announce our next Stake conference is scheduled for March 18-19, and we are privileged to have a General Authority Seventy presiding–someone you have heard from in General Conference. Sunday’s General Session will be at the Inter-Stake Center, 4780 Lincoln Ave, Oakland between 10am and noon. Saturday evening there will be a session for adults 18 and above at the Stake Center located at 1590 Denkinger Rd, Concord starting at 7pm.

President Nelson has taught that Stake conference is particularly important for instruction and edification and has asked all to spiritually prepare and attend. The act of just being there reinforces the importance of the meeting for all -- children, youth, and adults. For the youth, there will be occasions when what is being said speaks directly to questions they may have. Attending these sessions better enables us to endure challenges of daily life with patience and faith.

Our goal for this Stake Conference is to fill the Inter-Stake Center and the Denkinger building back to the stage. There will be flyers, both physical and virtual, made available in the coming days. Please invite all to whom you minister, and we encourage you this next Sunday to include as part of your fast, who else to invite. All are welcome!!

Stakes are “a defense and a refuge from the storm” and it is our prayer that as we meet together, we will be uplifted and edified and bind ourselves to walk even more so in all holiness before the Lord.
