Join us for an evening devoted to remembering Christ’s birth! There will be a live nativity reenactment (with animals and all!), nativity scene displays from around the world, and hot cocoa to keep you warm throughout the evening.
About this event
SINCE 1998 FOLLOW THE STAR: THE LIVING NATIVITY has been a cherished community Christmas tradition celebrating the true meaning of the Christmas season. Performances are held over three nights during December as volunteers of all ages come together to perform a living re-creation of the story of Christ’s birth as told in the Holy Bible. Thousands of spectators gather to see classically costumed actors, live animals, a rustic manger and humble stable, plus a bright new star that magically appears high in the sky against the backdrop of Saddleback Mountain. It's an experience that has brought added peace and deeper meaning to the holiday season.
