About this event

Saddleback Ward

YSA High Adventure

San Antonio Falls--- > Rappelling

July 22nd and Aug 5th, 8am- noon.

Canyoneering Rendezvous Overview:

Meet at 8:00 am, at the Trail head. It’s an easy 1.5-mile approach hike, ¾ of mile is on pavement. The last ¼ mile is steep and rugged with easy scrambling to get to the start. Round trip this is a 3-mile hike, mostly found on pavement. The 5 rappels will bring us back to where we started. There is always a constant flow of water. The big rains have brought the fun to epic proportions you will be wet! All participants will get wet from the knees down. On the largest rap (90 feet), you will be soaked! This baptism route drops you right under the pour off. Depending on group size this is a 4+ hour canyon and we should be done around noon.

Saturday, July 22nd and Aug 5th

Depending on the numbers that want to participate, we will determine if additional days are need to be added. To minimize the wait time and also due to harness limitations, we will have 2 different days for this event. Both days will start at 8am -12 PM.

At the Trailhead there is a toilet. We will meet at 8 am across from the toilet, before the gate.
