Join us for a fun and informative watercolor class with Sister Janene Rauch! She'll teach us the basics of how to watercolor (with a handout full of information), and some basic techniques. Then she'll guide us step-by-step in painting a landscape. By the end of the evening you'll bring home your very own watercolor masterpiece. ***VERY IMPORTANT: Please RSVP here on this website.
You will need to provide:
Glass mason jar or large glass drinking glass for water to clean your brush AND a small glass for clean water to work with while painting
Pencil
A GOOD eraser (that leaves no marks)
4-5 squares of paper towel
Two brushes:
Round brush, size #8, at Michael's: level 1 (but under the level 2 section in isle 68), $10.49
Long thin script "Liner" brush, level 2, size RR14, $4.99
Clip Board (Dollar Tree, isle 4 Stationary, $1.25)
Roll of blue painters tape
Please arrive on time.
****If you already have watercolor paints, and would like to paint a painting of your own, different from the group painting I'll be teaching, bring your watercolors and the image you want to paint on your own.
