of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
This service is for everyone and is called “sacrament meeting.” This meeting consists of songs, prayers, testimonies of existing members and talks given by different members of the congregation every week. The most important part of the meeting is when we take the sacrament to remember the Savior.
About this event
The purpose of this meeting is to remember the Saviour by partaking of the sacrament. The congregation renew their commitment to take upon themselves his name, always remember him, and keep his commandments.
Sacrament meetings also offer opportunity to worship, through music, song and the spoken word which strengthens faith and testimony in heavenly father and Jesus Christ.
