Help produce smiles and access to dental treatment for low-income individuals at the Silicon Valley Healthy Smiles event! For one weekend only, (May 19-21) at the San Jose Convention Center! Sign up for a shift depending on your availability--shifts range from 2-4 hours. Any is appreciated.

Approximately 1,500 people will receive fillings, cleanings, extractions and dentures at this 2 day event. Care valued at 2 million dollars.

Volunteers of all kinds are needed-- dentists (GP and specialists), hygenists, dental assistants, dental lab techs, nurses, EMTs, translators, physicians and COMMUNITY. Even if you do not have a dental background, we need you! Volunteers must be 18+ years old. Various volunteer positions are available--- ranging from registration help, dental assistance, dental treatment, escorting patients, passing out snacks, data entry, set-up, tear down and language interpreting.
