The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in
Vista YSA Ward
Hello there and welcome to the Vista Young Single Adult (YSA) Ward! We are your young (ages 18-30ish) neighbors who love Jesus Christ and strive to follow Him in everything we do. He is the center of our worship and our families. Everything we strive to do is to love, serve, and care for each other as He loves us. We would love for you to join us in our worship of the Savior of the World.
Come join us as we meet together in the chapel to sing hymns, partake of the Sacrament, and listen to the sermons provided by members of our congregation. After the service, we get to participate in Sunday school to learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Sunday school portion varies each week, so please look at the event description. Afterward, we linger with a provided snack or meal.
Come join us for a fun evening with members of the ward, friends, and guests. Activities are always changing so look forward to the updates each week on what we will be doing together. Normally revealed on Sunday during the announcements.
Church is a refuge from the chaos of everyday life. Attending church services gives us time to focus on worshipping God and loving our neighbors. It’s a spiritual recharge that helps us live closer to God throughout the week.
We attend with a community of Saints who are all trying to be more Christlike and learn from each other.
Church service times and schedules vary from congregation to congregation. However, you can always count on a similar format: one main meeting for everyone and one other class separated by age groups or general interests.
We know trying something new can sometimes be intimidating, but don't worry! Though many of our members come to church by themselves each week, you can sign up to have your local missionaries accompany you if you'd like.
